 . Jung   \n\n\n\nThe 12th and early 13th centuries mark a dramatic turn 
 in human history\, when new forms of religious life sprang up out of the c
 ollective unconscious\, creating new spiritual movements and a constellati
 on of symbols and myths such as the Holy Grail.\n\n\n\nThis lecture and di
 scussion will explore the evolution of the God-image through the sacred me
 dieval psyche as manifested through the teachings of Joachim of Flora and 
 Meister Eckhart\, the religious movements of the Cathars and Knights Templ
 ar\, and the legend of the Holy Grail—mystics and movements that deeply 
 influenced C.G. Jung throughout his life and writing\, and continue to res
 onate in the present.\n\n\n\nWilliam Grevatt\, MEd\, EdD\, is a Jungian an
 alyst in private practice in Culver City and Whittier Hills.  He is prese
 ntly a Board Member and Training Director for the C.G. Jung Study Center o
 f Southern California\, based in Culver City.  He has published several a
 rticles on the exploration of the sacred medieval psyche in the journal Ps
 ychological Perspectives\, and is presently writing a book on Meister Echk
