SUMMARY:Sacred Journeys Leading to Renewal
DESCRIPTION:Sacred Journeys Leading to Renewal\nPresented by Rose-Emily Rot
 henberg\, MA\, MFT\nSunday\, 1 PM - 5 PM\, April 14th\, 2013\n(this progra
 m was not recorded)\nInMemories\, Dreams\, Reflections\, Jung spoke about
his travels to Africa\, India\, and other countries and the psychological
insights those journeys yielded for him. Journeying both inside our psyche
s and outside to numinous destinations can reveal the creative energies th
at want to be known and utilized. In this four-hour seminar\, Ms. Rothenbe
rg will illustrate this by describing her own experience with these dynami
cs\, including stories and myths that inspired her to undertake two Africa
n safaris. She will discuss how animal symbolism\, dreams\, active imagina
tions and visions\, when integrated together with her African adventures\,
led her to an initiation experience and an unanticipated renewal.\nRose-E
mily Rothenberg\, MA\, MFT\, is a Jungian analyst in private practice in P
acific Palisades. A member of the faculty of the C.G. Jung Institute of Lo
s Angeles\, she has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics
of psyche/body and the orphan archetype. She is the author ofThe Jewel in
the Wound: How the Body Expresses the Needs of the Psyche and Offers a Pat
 h to Transformation.
